Personality: Melody loves the water and music, and she's a big fan of Owl City. She's creative and artsy, with music being her special talent, but she can also use a pencil and paper very well. She has a fun, bubbly spirit. (bubbly in both senses of the water and a bubbly attitude) She isn't very popular in school but has enough friends for her to be happy with, even though she is very likeable. Her 2 main friends are Vienna Moon and Roxxi Starr who are almost exatically like her. They all make wrong (in the disgusting sense) jokes and like to use the phrase "that's what she said" sometimes. She's also a very talented video gamer, swimmer, and runner. She also is a brony.
Bio: She was hatched on Shallow Beach and Boardwalk's shore. She awoke and was in her older brother's arms. He smiled at her and fell asleep. They were resting on a palm tree trunk, and her parents kept bobbing their heads up and down in the orange sea.
That's when it all happened. There was a big shape, her mom, red, screaming... it all happened so fast. Her brother woke up at the very moment and looked out. He yelled, "Mom! I'm coming!" but she wasn't paying attention and didn't hear. Melody was frightened when Leon jumped up and ran off, with Melody still in his arms. He realized she was still there, so he went back and opened up the empty egg shell and put her in. He closed off the top with the other half and ran off.
Melody peered through the lines of the cracks and saw her dad and brother pulling up a ripped carcass dyed in red. Her brother ripped off her necklace and he looked at a rip in her neck. Melody whimpered and broke open the egg again. She bolted over where she saw her brother and dad holding her mom in her arms. The two men were crying over her mom's blank face. Her brother looked over at her and the first words she heard with her fluffy ears were, "Never trust a shark."
Two years later, when Melody was two months, she had a close relationship with her brother, who she later learned was named Leon, and had grown quite far away from her dad. She found out that he had murdered a few creatures and had committed adultery to at least twenty women. She talked to him about it and all her father did was yell at her. Leon had witnessed a couple of these fights and once saved Melody from getting hit by blocking her and took the damage.
After a couple months of thinking, Leon and Melody finally ran to the wilderness. They escaped during midnight to a humid forest filled with palm trees. When their father awoke the next morning, and he was so scared and mad that he hung him self from their homing palm tree, where he rotted away. Later, after the rest of the story, when Leon and Melody went to visit their dad, they found his almost decayed skeleton hanging from the tree on the deserted beach.
Years later, Leon decided to go to school, and he talked Melody into it, too. They started their first year in Saltwater Forest K-12 School. Melody had no friends until two best friends started to make small talk to her. Their names were Roxxi and Vienna. Vienna was a domestic animal and Roxxi was a squirrel-like creature.
During P.E., the teacher was very strict. The first day, she had taken quite a liking to Melody, so she pushed her harder and made her stay after school-hours to practice running and swimming, so her legs were very strong. This made her the fastest in the class.
After a few weeks, the the duo became a trio by adding Melody to their group. They did everything together. Hey, at least Leon accepted them, right?
Melody found her passion when Roxxi had to go pick up her sister's guitar from the shop. While Roxxi and Vienna were at the counter talking to the guy who was making them pay, Melody explored the shop.
She saw a paper with beautifully written marks on lines, and a guy came up to her and asked, "You got a passion for music?" She just stood there, and the guy brought her to the back of the shop. Melody introduced herself to him, and she found that his name was Piers. He taught her all the notes and what each of them sound like. After thirty minutes, Roxxi and Vienna came in and told her that she had to go. Piers told Melody to "Come back sometime, and bring some sheet music with you. I'll be waiting."
Ever since, she's written 45 pieces, 11 songs, and performed 6 concerts. She visited Piers often, finding out that him and Leon were best friends and all, until he moved to Lost Angelise (XD pun off of Los Angeles) where he made music and became famous. He flies in to visit Melody and Leon from time to time, and he mentioned Melody at a few of his concerts.

As said above, She is a Fluffaning. A Fluffaning is a sea-dwelling mamal, who are born on land. They are creatures who are commonly paired with mythical beings, such as Poseidon or mermaids. They are extremely rare.
There is about an even amount of males and females ratio-wise.
Even though they are mammals, they lay eggs. Each egg can have only one Fuffling, or a baby Fluffaning, in them. The mother has one to three eggs, and on a rare occasion, a double egg. The double egg is a genetically combined egg of two eggs. The results inside the egg will either be two young or a mutated young. Pregnancy of the egg is about 2 weeks in human years. The eggs will hatch from an hour to a week in human timing.
The Fluffaning's color pallet is generally the same, but each tail is different. The colors range from white to black and from red to blue and back. no two tails are the same. On a rare occasion, they will have a full rainbow tail, meaning they are from a long-ago royal decent. Their eyes match their tail color, and if they have a rainbow tail, their eyes will be orchid.
Their lifespan is about 420 years in human years, which is thirty-five years for them.
Males are generally weigh 34kg and are shoulder height at 91cm. Height to their ear-tops is 119cm and they can grow up to as long as 211cm.
Females generally weigh 31kg and are shoulder height at 89cm. Height to their ear-tops is 116cm and they can grow up to as long as 208cm.
Their main diet is seafood and tropical fruits.
They usually live in tropical environments or in captivity.
